Customer reviewsSit to stand if you are under 5 5
The desk is nice enough but at 5 7 I would not really call it sit to stand. In the fully raised position and putting my work at the top of the desk, it is still not at a high enough level. Additionally there is not a lip on the bottom to hold your paper in place. You will need a clamp or hold your paper with one hand. As a sitting desk it runs a little high. My current chair does not have enough height to make this work. Not a big deal since I was already planning on replacing the chair. My last point is on the assembly directions. As a family we have assembled many an IKEA piece and have experience with less than clear directions. This desk made IKEA directions look like the gold standard. Once you figure step 1 and 2 out it gets easier but not good. On the upside all the parts were received, holes for the screws were in the right place and it is sturdy when complete.
